WOW!!!!!!! The more I look at that crazy line-up, the closer this dual gets! I started at 11-6 Bigs with one toss-up and now I'm at 9-8 Bigs with one push.

30-28 Bigs! It's a great day for Kansas Wrestling!

All I know if that I can not wait to leave my classroom and head to Topeka to see all the great matches tonight. Snow or no snow.

Can we postpone it for one week and have it at Coach Church's gym instead? I would hate to see any one getting KILLED to go see it. Death is permanent!

I might not go because of the weather.

Sucks. I was really looking forward to going. But, my wife and three kids need me for many years to come (Good Lord willing).

We want to be there more that anything, way to many great matches to pass up. But that said, it is a mess outside here in Wichita and is getting worse as time passes. For those that do make it good luck

I was coming, not knowing if my son was going to be there or not, but having to leave at 3:30 there is no way with the weather as it is. I would hope it is rescheduled if possible.

We have decided not to come up today due to the weather. As a result this will cancel the match between Chris Watson and Ty Caldwell. I visited with Chris's father a few minutes ago and felt this was the best decision even though we hated to miss the matches.

I have contacted Coach Means and left a message for Tyler at Goddard High School to tell them in advance. I also volunteered to see if I could get Andover Central High School for a site to host the duel in a couple of weeks if they wanted to postpone it tonight.

The storm is basically over in Western Kansas sun was trying to shine in Colby area. Have talked to people on I-70 coming from west and seems to be good for the most part. Most of them left last night to beat the storm. If we cancel this thing now we probably won't make the trip in a couple of weeks to Wichita to wrestle. If we don't wrestle this thing tonight how you going to have the kids tournament. Sounds like some needed to make better plans. JMO

Don't get me wrong I want to go but I already know one match is not going on that I wanted to see, and I would hate for some of these kids to get up there and not be able to wrestle because other didn't show. I understand why some don't or won't be able to show; just suck the storm came today.

my3sons, I understand the snow didn't hit anywhere north of US 24, so that's why you're in sunshine. Just about everywhere else south of you and to the east is geting hammered.

I agree with you about making better plans, though. There needs to be a contingency for something like this.

Mother Nature doesn't care about us. She has her own schedule. It stinks, but we knew the deal.

My fellow wrestling guru and I have concluded that big schools will win 41-30! Of course that depends on all the close matches going the exact way we predicted it...

Also good luck to everybody involved and drive safe whether you're wrestling or coming to watch. Hope to see everybody make it safe and sound.
