I did see that, but how about an "All-Grade" Top 10? I can think of at least 1 non-senior that would crack that list.

Colt's losses:

Luke Greco - Blue Springs, MO
Bryce Gretch - Billings Skyview, Montana
Chanthapatheth, Grand Island, NE, dec. Rogers, SC, 9-5.

Thanks Will. So, would it be a safe assumption that those three loses were finals matches of BIG tourneys? I have never got to watch Colt wrestle. Bummer. However, at least I got to see Ryne wrestle. That was way cool! ;-)

usa wrestling...i am not by any means saying your Lewis from Lyons is a bad wrestler, but if you dont place at a 321A regionals the year before then there is no way that you would or will be ranked on the all class rankings the next coming year before the season started. If you want to be on the rankings then you'll have yo show it on the mat for a couple weeks and show them that you deserve to be on the all class rankings and make your spot.

There are many 103lbs that are not on the all class rankings that went to high school state and almost placed and that made it to kids state that did place at kids.

Some guys that were ahead of him in 321A that did make it to state and might be back at 103 are

Austin Avelar
Colt Skillman
Chris Ceman
Ross Harris
Isaac Cairo
Cole Lies
Glenn Blue

In short, I have looked at the results for Lewis in every tournament. Tough kid but short of the AC rankings. If the Lyons schedule allows him to match up with ranked wrestlers, he will sure get his chance. The other issue is, I have received back very limited information on anticipated weights for the 321A wrestlers as a whole. I have left messages, e-mailed and even called a few homes!

ok i understand about the ac rankings but he should be in the 321a 103 rankings in there somewhere dont you think? he might get his chance against regis weiss at the first osborne tourney...but he is very tough and has been working his tail off but shouldnt probably be in the ac rankings but in the indivisual class

Coach Brown does the 321A rankings. Good luck to Brendon this year!

Dennis Charbonneau is the 5A rep. Greg Buckbee will shoulder the ranking burden in 5A again.

I would definitely change them with sufficient criteria.

I had to post my criteria. All of those guys were considered and are tough kids.

Gentzler has many more accolades than that kids state title. Again, #2,3 and 4 on that list are REALLY close.

Good point. I will look at that again.

Wolf is very tough. He did beat Austin and then lost to Stalford, Kriss and Cole to place 6th in the same bracket, right after Hood beat Cole to place 4th. Hood in my opinion is better but the 112 jump will be a test.

Wrestler should be higher although he can't be above Hines because he lost to him at HS state.

I have Hines and Wrestler ranked 1/2 in 4A. Stalford was a State Champion and Prescott was a finalist. Wrestler took 6th at State with 11 losses. I agree that on any given day Tim could beat these guys and I know how tough he is, but I believe he's ranked correctly for now.

Beasley is ranked #2 All-Class. That win over Smith at kids state was a gift by anyone who actually saw the match. That is not to say that he and Smith are not extremely close. The 1.5 periods or in that case 1.6 period is not the only reason I decided that way.

Great response Chief, thanks.
Everyone has now been appropriately recognized and everyone should be happy.
Moeder, great idea. Obviously I have thought more than once about your suggestion but we all know that there can be only one Chief.
Perhaps it is a case of "discretion being the better part of valor".

It looks like the individual class rankings will not be released tomorrow as planned. Class 321A and 5A are not complete yet. I have completed 4A and 6A but KWCA wants to release them all at once.

How much longer do you think it will be until you complete 321 and 5a?

Rankings this time of year are fun to look at, but certainly don't mean much in February when it really matters. I appreciate all of the time that some have put into this. If nothing else, it is great conversation.
