Creek is tough. But he has been dropped from the latest rankings I've seen. He should be a highly motivated kid because of that.
I did edit my post. I was looking @ rankings from Jan 20th. My bad. When all entries are in, I'll post some other quality records.

If you don't use a scramble format there will be so many forfeits at the end of the day it will be sad.

Four pools of four, three matches as I doubt there will be any brackets with 18 and then line brackets of four to determine placing. Five matches for all wrestlers. If you line bracket every bracket that has more than 12 wrestlers will end up with forfeits possible.

I hope they have quite a few mats if you going to get 5 matches for each wrestler. Otherwise you're not getting out of Second Pond, better known as Silver Lake, until the wee hours of the morning.

Rickey, Rickey, rickey, that hurts me. We are famous for getting out of a tourney with daylight to burn, usually between 3 and 5 p.m. I am concerned though. We have 151 jv entries and 167 varsity entries. My guess is, all will see the sun set on their way home. Speaking of which, I may make Will's sun set if he wants to gripe about the 6th match while at the Lake. Enjoy the rasslin Willy, enjoy the boy! I will be surprised if Rick changes the rule for us this weekend. Just stirring the pot a little before I tuck in this eve!

I know we had a few matches settled by the coin toss last year. When I saw 18 teams I was figuring 252 possible wrestlers, I didn't think we would have 85 open roster spots. I still think a scramble format is better with the five match limit. Even if you only wrestle for the top four spots then only 4 wrestlers get five matches while the rest get three. No coin tosses to settle the 3rd place matches.

Will, when you grow up and run a tourney, run it any way you want to! Better yet, get the rule changed before tomorrow so we don't have to worry about the 6th match. I must say that I am shocked that you don't know that points are decided by criteria in those situations . There is no coin flip in any situation. See ya tomorrow.

Anything short of deciding a match by WRESTLING is weak!

I was thinking about changing the format to only coin flips all day instead of wrestling Cheif. I am not going to sweat what I can't control. And I cannot control that rule. You can't blame me for poking at Will when the ol, self proclaimed "wise one" screws up.
