Just curious to see what wrestlers are injured and are questionable/out for Regionals...

I know Zach Eaton from Smith Center has been injured. How serious is his injury? Will he be back?

Do you see how nobody has touched this subject at all.

I guess most of us wrestling coaches are a lot like Old Coach Bill Synder at K-State. It is our policy to not comment about injuries on our team. And in this case about other fellow MCL team's injuries.

I bet you will find out around Feb. 18th. One way or another.

Seemed to me like Mike was just trying to do his job by asking the question. I don't think it was any cause to be rude to the man. Been my observation that Mike has been nothing but good to our sport as well as to our league.
As for Zac, I don't think it would be a crime to say I have no idea how he is doing, but was watching his match when he got hurt. Likewise, I don't think it would be wrong for me to say that has been my observation that he's a pretty tough kid and I would guess he will be in Beloit on Friday and probably Q1 for Hays. We wish Zac all the best.

I appreciate the backup 19K40, but I never expected a coach to report on the severity of Eaton's injury. Very few coaches are even on this forum. More than anything, I hate to see injured athletes and hope Eaton is healthy enough to compete. I guess I was looking/hoping for someone to say the injury is not serious and he'll be a full go for Regionals. But in the words of Coach Johnson "I bet I will find out around Feb. 18th. One way or another."
