STA Thunder wrestlers will be sitting in Carver Hawkeye to see the Cowboys try to break the streak. Jordan Oliver is a BEAST!

Did you mean "STA" Saints or "SJA" Thunder

I hope I can get some sort of coverage back here good luck to SJA Thunder in Iowa.

A few other notes on the Oliver vs Ramos Matchup
Oliver and Ramos are both very talented

Top ranked common opponent recently in the 2011/12 season (within in the last 2 to 3 months)

133: #1 Jordan Oliver, Oklahoma State dec #3 B.J. Futrell, Illinois 8-7
Tony Ramos vs BJ Futrell 13-5
Tony Ramos vs BJ Futrell 6-2

If Oliver pins Ramos it will be the first time Ramos is pinned in either 2010, 2011, 2012,
I do not think Oliver has any pins over top 6 guys in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 season. Just my observation from the results. The pin is very tough at that level and I believe both Oliver and Ramos are hitting their stride pretty well. Should be a great dual.

The X Factor in all this....Carver Hawkeye and 15,000 rabid Iowa fans. Iowa magic has lifted them over better teams in the past.

Yes a very good dual in front of well over 15,000 fans. I though LoftHouse had his opponent pinned.

Great meet. The Ramos match should have never gone to OT. He clearly rode him long enough to erase the riding time but the clock never started counting down. I thought the coaching staffs were going to go at it at the table. NCAA's should be interesting with St. John back in the lineup and Gambrall back at 184

OK everyone who had this match turning out this way rais your hand. All of you that have your hand raised are liars.

Two words...HOLY CRAP...come to mind. In one month this dual would be totaly different. As far as Oliver Ramos....I just missed calling that one. I told you guys he would...wait...never mind. Great match by Ramos. Throw St. John in the mix and it is a different game.

But, at the end of the day....I say to all the shouldda couldda wouldda folks out there in Hawkeye land....SCOREBOARD. I will take any win against Iowa I can get and not care how it happened.

Now we look forward to March...when it really counts.
