Like I said doug747, they were already out of 4A except SJA. But if you are saying that SJA recruits, you will have to take that up with Cokeley. But that's a separate issue. Everybody recruits anyway don't they. And I can't imagine why anyone would want to get out of 4A to get into 5A. That's like committing suicide.

They would definitely be concerned.

Well that's not about to happen as you can infer doug747.
But you know it is definitely good for at least a smart alec comment or two.

Now that is funny.

Yes Chief, that is funny.
But it wouldn't be so funny to both of the classes as they would both be leaving some kids behind that they would have otherwise not.

What does everyone think about this.
Shorten the regular season by one week.
02-02-2012- League tournaments
02-09-2012- district tournaments
02-16-2012- class state tournaments
02-23-2012- state tournament- top 4 placers from each class

Not going to happen, you are just trying to re-hash the "Grand State Idea" that has surfaced and been beaten to death time and time yet again.

X, I was only replying to Will. You would have to ask Will why he called these 2 classes out, and it appears you agree. But, the point is, 321A would hold its own, in my opinion. And, yes, there would be some 321A champs who wouldn't be, but you did miss the other side of the equation...it goes both ways. Finally, it was an interesting idea, the smallest schools wrestling the biggest.

And, leaving 4A for 5A being suicide, only this year and it wouldn't be as bad if it were not for some nice transfers. A couple are 321A kids.

And, where have you been, these are old comments, your wit and wisdon is always missed.

Yes Double J, Hakuna Matata. I know you were just responding to Will. I was pretty much just clowning around anyway.

And yes, you are correct, but I really didn't miss that it goes both ways as I did state that both classes would have reason for concern.

As for the suicide comment, I hear what you are saying, but I was just responding to doug747. But also I don't necessarily agree that it is just this year, but I am not compelled right now to get into that.

And yes, these are old comments, sorry so belated with my response. I was just sitting around my mom's house for the holidays and my family is just kind of doing their own thing and I got on my favorite site and the temptation was getting to me as I have wanted to respond for some time but didn't really have time and I obviously have time now and really can't let doug747 off that easy. You know what I am talking about. Thanks for obliging me as I was hoping someone would.

I have the champions at 6 for 321A, 4 for 6A and 4 even. There would be some real battles for the other placements and I am thinking 321A would probably come out ahead in the total medal count in this hypothetical scenario. It would certainly be MUCH more intriguing than either of these tournaments on their own.

Records are reported behind wrestlers name. Just an FYI

132 - Luke Henes's place is 1st and has scored 33.50 team points.

1st Place Match - Luke Henes (St Thomas Aquinas) 13-3 won by decision over Sawyer Like (BV Southwest) 15-1 (Dec 2-1)

Many of those records shown are not correct. These two are correct but the wrestlers that got byes, trackwrestling counts those as wins. Also, the only reason Henes is not ranked above Like at 132 is that I have Henes at 126.

It would certainly be MUCH more intriguing than either of these tournaments on their own.

6A beats 321A 8-6.

321A wins SEVEN against 5A!
