What's with the Parade of Champions @ 3:45 on the first day?

They aren't starting the 1st round until 4:00 pm Friday.

What you'll notice is that wrestling will be continuous clear through the finals. Its unfortunate that there won't be a lot of pomp and circumstance, but safety and getting the tournament done this weekend are paramount.

That's not for 321A, just the larger classes do this.

This should be the parade of State Qualifiers...the Champions wont be determined yet. But, I guess if the Champions are in the parade, maybe that is what they mean.

Thanks. Sounds like something the "larger classes" would do.

Rule 4-5-5 (Page 19)
..., Competitions that are postponed for one calendar day or more, for reasons beyond the control of the participating school(s), or practices that cannot be held in these situations due to school policy shall be treated the same as competitions when there are consecutive days of competition in terms of the 1 pound allowance, with the exception of the required 48-hour notice.

It looks like they left out some consolation cross bracketing. I'm not sure that schedule will work.

There is a new schedule posted which includes the consolation cross bracketing.

This brings back memories of Grand State at Hays in 1976. No power and no place to feed the kids on Saturday morning. We got through it okay.

I don't know where the +3 and +4 is coming from. I saw +1 and +2 on website.

Probably counting the 2 pound growth allowance. It is just +1 and +2.

I remember the 76 grand state. My little brother ws a grand state champion that year. the water and power were off but the wrestling went off without even knowing there had been a storm outside. most of the storm was during the night. it was 70 degrees the day before.
