Wayland Baptist University is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Women & Men's Wrestling Teams.
A bachelor’s degree, drivers license, and faith statement are required. Previous college wrestling and/or coaching experience is recommended. Duties include but are not limited to: Retention and recruitment of student athletes; Assist in daily planning of team training and conditioning; Ensure academic compliance with all university and NAIA policies and procedures; Assist with monitoring academic progress and eligibility; Help drive and transport student athletes when needed.
Currently the university has the only intercollegiate wrestling program in the state of Texas.
This position would pay a stipend, partial tuition, and possibly housing. It would be a great opportunity for somebody that wants to gain a lot of coaching experience at a high level of competition in a program that is well supported by the school.
