One more question than I think I can leave it alone for a while again. Why was the Chief the first one to post results while St. James was leading, But never posted again when Garden City took over the lead? No Congrats to Garden City like St. James got. Just a question on Bias....

My Dad passed away in OKC and I was at his funeral on Saturday, honoring my hero.

fun to think about....

but I have to ask, so GC must be incapable of registering pins?

I think the buffs get a bit more bonus out of 132 thru 152 (collectively) to make things really tight....

with the whole ball of wax resting at 220...

I'd travel back home to see it!!

106 - Efrain Sanchez (20-10) placed 4th and scored 18.00 team points. vs Jackson Ott SJA We will give GC a bonus point.
GC 4 SJA 0

113 - Michael Prieto (35-2) placed 1st and scored 29.50 team points. vs Steve Tujague SJA It is a decision as it happened.
GC 7 SJA 0

120 - Mark Perez (19-16) placed 11th and scored 11.50 team points. vs Max Goode SJA (Toss Up)
GC 10 SJA 0

126 - Thomas Marquez (5-11) place is unknown and scored 4.00 team points. vs Reese Cokeley
GC 10 SJA 6

132 - Alec Castillo (8-6) placed 4th and scored 15.50 team points. vs Zak Hensley
GC 10 SJA 12

138 - Tevin Briscoe (24-3) placed 1st and scored 26.50 team points. vs Clay Lautt (Mies caught Clay but I am saying Tevin doesn't)
GC 14 SJA 12

145 - Chris Adler (36-6) placed 3rd and scored 22.00 team points.vs Andrew Tujague
GC 14 SJA 15

152 - Jesse Nunez (26-10) placed 5th and scored 16.00 team points. vs Sammy Cokeley Could go either way
GC 17 SJA 15

160 - Zac Finch (6-3) placed 6th and scored 14.00 team points. vs Ben Vanlerberg
GC 17 SJA 21

170 - Matt Marez (19-15) place is unknown and scored 2.00 team points. vs Matt Pratt
GC 17 SJA 27

182 - Tye Hahn (9-9) placed 14th and scored 9.00 team points. vs Trent Salsbury
GC 17 SJA 33

195 - Sam Reyes (32-5) placed 3rd and scored 24.00 team points. vs OPEN
GC 23- SJA33

220 - Luis Castaneda (11-7) placed 6th and scored 15.00 team points. vs David Feist SJA
GC 23-SJA 36

285 - Montana Fuller (5-1) placed 2nd and scored 24.00 team points. vs OPEN

GC 29 SJA 36

Mark should have the "Back in the day Rankings" that are based purely on his "opinion" but I think we should stick with math and not pure subjectivity.

Chief,
Dakota Rodd beat Lisher 13-7 and is ranked above him in 4-A but you have Lisher ranked in AC but don't have Rodd mentioned. Is this an over site?

Mark should have the "Back in the day Rankings" that are based purely on his "opinion" but I think we should stick with math and not pure subjectivity.

You are going to have to be more specific. 132 is a fall for SJA. GC doesn't have the mismatches to gain the falls back. I gave Briscoe a major and in both toss up matches I gave the win to GC. We have points left but we are out of miles smile so it would need to be the Buffs migrating east for this match up.

They are both top 3 but unless they wrestle it is all speculative based on common opponents and the experience of watching. I am sure both coaches would have some motivational speeches up their sleeves and some tactics that could sway some of these matches. There is no way I would even try to escape the BIAS label but I have tried to be as realistic as possible based on the facts available to work with.

It's not an over site. I don't do the 4A rankings and there are many more matches to consider than just the head to head. Rodd has lost to DeShazer, Frame, McDonald 2X, Perez 2X, Whitson and Dillman from VC.

Just curious, but why is it that Wuthnow rank below Salsbury? I do know that Nick has beat him. Not this year (havnt wrestled).

Has Nick beat him this decade?

Trent has many more quality wins this year. Nick's schedule has worked against him.

More matches to consider other than head to head? If somebody beat someone head to head what else is there to consider? He is better than that person. Again that's why these rankings are a joke and should be taking off here. Hey everyone's entitled to their opinion and some say these rankings are just for fun but as I recall some publications actually use them as official rankings. Wrong!!!!

I wouldn't because that is not the purpose of these forums. One of purposes of these forums is to teach kids not to get DQ from tournaments.

Didn't know that. It's not in the agreement when you sign up. Free speech Steve. Your all in for censorship. Please when you have time list your all class. Or are you just a bomb thrower? Come on tough guy put your money where your mouth is. Or do you want to just take cheap shots?
