Is it right or wrong for a coach to make a wrestler continue to dodge competition, just because they have criteria for Regionals? Isn't some of the fun of being on top, proving it against ranked opponents?

If you don't find the ranked wrestlers the ranked wrestlers eventually find you....but yeah I agree there isn't anything quite like KNOWING you are number one

Wrong. Sitting kids should be due to injury, illness or discipline, in my opinion. However, you see it all of the time. I'd rather have a wrestler go put it on the line and learn about how to wrestle that guy. If he's going to lose, he's probably going to lose in regionals too. People get analysis paralysis over what to do. Just wrestle.

"Analysis paralysis" I like that, you should try being a rap artist Mr. Jilka... what would your stage name be? J Da Butt? Juicy J is already taken "butt" would suit you just fine!

Obviously it is important to have fun while you wrestle. But theres nothing like knowing you put yourself up man to man, best of the best and came out on top. Those matches, those are the fun ones.
