Does anyone know when they'll release who is 4A and who is 3-2-1A? Or have they already and I missed it somewhere?

Should be posted here, probably sometime soon. If not today, then probably by end of next week.

The fact that it’s December 9th and KSHSAA has not managed to release the wrestling classifications is unbelievable to me. I realize that 6A and 5A are not effected by this so KSHSAA probably cares less, but it is not very hard to pull this off.

Mr. Lentz was back in California last week dealing with a sick family member. I'm sure he wishes he were here in Kansas working on classifications instead of having to do what he was doing. I also want to see the Regional sites. Give him some time.

I hope they come out pretty soon. It is no fun being in limbo! Will our state tourney be in Hays or Salina? If we are 4A, we will probably travel much further for regionals. . . That would be nice to know and prepare for. The delay really has no effect on our team's wrestling right now, but I like to have a plan for the future and the unknown is bothering me. Anyway, I know life happens, but surely someone in that office could put all the teams in 4-3-2-1A with wrestling into a spread sheet and click 'sort.' If they give me the list, I could release the wrestling classifications in about 5 minutes.

They definitely changed up the regional sites this year from years past.
Can Concordia's gym hold three mats?
I noticed they have 14 in each regional in Class 4A with the exception of Anderson County.
3A has 21 schools in each regional, except Norton. You'd think that regional would have 21 and move another team to another regional, because that one usually has the most wrestlers participating in the regional year in and year out.

Last time we went to Concordia, they had two mats in the main gym and one mat in the auxiliary gym. You don’t really need 3 mats for a 4A regional, but if they choose to have 4, they will have to use 2 gyms.

By my count, Norton & Eureka Regionals both have 21 teams. Council Grove and Russell Regionals have 22 teams each.
