2021 Schoolboy Duals National Team Information

Schoolboy State is coming up May 23rd, 2021 @ Rose Hill High School

National Duals = June 9th - 13th @ Franklin, Indiana
Schoolboy wrestlers (14U) - Born 2007 - 2008
Weight Classes: 71, 77, 83, 87, 92, 97, 102, 106, 110, 114, 119, 125, 130, 136, 149, 165, 187, 250

TEAM INFORMATION
We will be taking two teams for each style, Freestyle & Greco Roman. Teams will be set based on FS/GR State results first, and then if spots are needed to be filled we'll use results from Folkstyle Nationals, Folkstyle State, Heartland Duals and best discretion to fill the team. There are 7-8 Duals per style, plus a dedicated mat to "Exhibition Challenges" - Athletes will leave the event with at least 10-18 matches, regardless of status as "starter" or "back up". Our intent is to go up and win duals and compete. "Starters" will get a majority of the matches, "Back Up" will get at least two matches per style in the duals & LOTS of exhibition challenge matches. We will have coaches dedicated to each to team to help coach/track those exhibition challenge matches.

I have a Information Packet that I can also share out once you have filled out the Questionnaire, upon request, or direct hard copy at State 5/23.
Cost = $375, wrestler will keep their two Team Kansas singlets (red/blue), and other team gear, food, transportation, accommodation all taken care of in this cost. Paid in Full before we depart June 9th.

BUMP

Shout out to our own Scott Rieck! He was back in action, leading our Schoolboy National Dual Team to a 4-3 Freestyle finish and 4-4 in Greco! (One loss was 41-40 and 43-39 to Minnesota). I believe Sammy Cokeley was his assistant. Great to see our long-time national coach in our corner with his boy Storm representing Kansas!
