JOB: Basehor-Linwood High School is currently looking for an Asst. High School Wrestling Coach Position

LOCATION: Basehor-Linwood High School, 2108 155th St, Basehor, KS 66007

PROGRAM INFO: BLHS is a 5A school who is on the rise in wrestling in addition to having several other high level successful sports programs in the state of KS. In 2023, the high school program had 7 State Qualifiers and 2 state medalist. For the 2023-24 season we will return 6 of the 7 state qualifiers and both state medalist. Additionally, we will have the largest and the strongest incoming class of freshman that the program has ever had next season. The freshman class is projected to include 15-20 wrestlers with nearly all of them having years of club wrestling experience, multiple kids club state qualifiers, state medalist, state champions, and national placers at Folkstyle Nationals and Winter Nationals. This incoming freshman group to say the least is a talented group of great young men with families that are heavily vested in the club and the program. Our roster size next year is projected to be between 35-40 wrestlers and our kids club is just completed it's second year in a row of being the largest wrestling club in the state of KS finishing this past season with 265 wrestlers in the club! The club not only is the largest club in the state but also finished 4th in the state of KS this past season at the USAWKS State Wrestling Tournament out of 181 clubs represented!
