At the Rose Hill tournament last year, there was this Columbus kid (112#) wrestling another kid (I really can't remember, but it's not important) and the Columbus kid was losing and he had the other kid turned on his back and what looked like a pin if you were looking over the top of it (like most of the Columbus fans were) but I was sitting right on ground level and could tell that the kid's shoulders were not down and the ref made a good call by not giving him the pin (and three points was not enough to tie it or win it). The Columbus people went crazy and booed and hissed and yelled things that I shouldn't repeat. However, the kid was NOT pinned. I didn't dare try and tell them that, though...

Just last year at the Beloit Invitational, our Athletic Director was escorting a man out due to "Vulgar Language" and the guy punched our AD.
But you can't blame him for his actions, the fan had a mullett.

This just goes to show that you can never trust a Mullett.

KU Crusier,

It was the father from clearwater. Probably would't be nice to post the mans name. His son got a bad call in the finals and lost it. What was more interesting was that he dressed in drag the next couple of years due to a ban so he could watch his other son wrestle. Also, the dumbest thing I saw was at the Rose Hill tournament when a riot ensued after a match. I don't know the specifics on that one.

I think it was 2 years ago at Blue Valley NorthWest Tournament in the semi's when Josh Carroll and Ian Bork were wrestling. Josh had beat Ian every match prior to this onw and the ref made a call that gave ian the advantage and he ended up beating Josh. well after the match JOsh's mom was raging on the ref and had to be lead out of the gym. that was the only time Ian beat Josh all year.

Are you sure? Because I wrestled a Brett Troxel my junior year at Beloit, and I know for a fact that the program had that name under "Spirit Squad." I'm not saying you're a cheerleader...but I do remember a Brett Troxel being named a member of the Spirit Squad.

It's cool, dude. You can tell us. We'll understand.

In 1973 my father ran across the mat after I lost a match at the Newton Tourney because it was so noisy in the old gym and he thought I may have scored a point before the final buzzer that would have tied the match. It was so noisy that I don't really know but I think I did score the point. It was in the semi finals.
