Burlington High School is proud to announce that tournament results will be posted throughout the day on Saturday for the 15th Annual Burlington Wrestling Invitational. Team Rosters, Team Scores, Brackets and Weight Class Results will be posted on the district web site in PDF format.

This was great being able to follow along all day! There were a couple wrestlers that I expected to see wrestle that weren't there, and a couple surprises in the finals. Thanks for sharing for those of us who had the "day off" from wrestling.

Wow W. Ind was there, they were suppose to be at the Wichita North tournament but never showed up and this caused a delay. From our understanding they didnt even call North high and tell themthey would not be there. Great Job Ind.

According to the Wichita Independent schedule posted on HS Tourney Schedule they were scheduled to be at Burlington.

Campus 130:
Thanks for letting me know that we were suppose to be at the North Tournament. This was the first I have heard of it. We have went to the Burlington Tournament for the last four years. Did they have a signed contract from us stating our intention to attend their tournament. Not that I'm aware of! Maybe, before you get online and start bad-mouthing our program you should have your facts straight.
I did email the North High Coach last week about trying to arrange a dual later this year since we had a point to spare, but had heard nothing back to this point. I hope that did not cause a mis-communication.

Coach Vanderlinden and staff, as usual a great tournament and VERY well organized and again as usual an AWESOME finals shows. I look foward to being back there with my son the next 3 yrs.

I was kinda surprised to see betchel from Eureka not only beat but pin Pat Mosley from Wichita Independent. Can anyone give any details on that match?

Betchel took him down with a head and arm and got the pin.

I thought the touney was great because the place was so set up and prepared when i walked in the door
i just wonder how much trouble they went through to get it in that great of a setup
it was like a true wrestlings tourney should be and not to mention the great job they did on the preparation of the slide show for the under the lights celebration
the tourney it's self had 16 man brackets
they kept the brackets in the commons updated all the time so people could find their favorite wrestler and see how he/she was doing in the tourney
in all was done and over fast considering the size of the tourney
it was about 815 pm

i should stop talking so good about it you guys are most likely getting mad
