Kyle Detmer comes to mind… tough young man, not sure what school. In Wichita they grow up in one place and go to school in another.

Don't forget about Mitchell Means...from what I hear he had some good matches with that Detmer kid and has done real well in kids and he wrestled a lot of freestyle this summer..

LOL, so funny. Kinda like the fact Nathan Furches and Dante Rogers live 1 house apart in Wichita and closest to Wichita South, but one goes to Wichita NW and the other to Derby!

Except neither young man grew up here, both are going to school where they have always gone. Dante where he has lived most of his life, and Nathan where his mother has taught school at since moving here from Oklahoma, where some on the forums actually encouraged us to move back to at one time.

My point was that
Detmer: Maize Kids Club
Caldwell: Valley Center
Beard: Brawlers (Andover)
Keller twins: Maize
And I could go on and on it's hard to keep track of them when kids move to the high school ranks. As I recall Joe Cornejo: Haysville as a Kid, Wichita West as a Freshman HS, and Campus to finish his career. And who knows how many has wrestled for Coach Knox over the years and didn't go to West.
