I saw that Kreigbaum is at 130 and Geske is at 125? That's interesting? I can't believe Geske hasn't put on more weight? Also I heard tonight that Abilene left the Circle Tournament and is going to the Rose Hill Tournament this year?
ROSE HILL, MAIZE, FORT SCOTT, COLUMBUS, HUTCHINSON, WICHITA NORTHWEST, MCPHERSON, AUGUSTA, CANEY VALLEY, ANDOVER, ANDOVER CENTRAL, CHANUTE, WINFIELD, LABETTE CO, MULVANE, DERBY, WELLINGTON, VALLEY CENTER, ANDALE, ABILENE.
I think that is everyone?

id figure that kreigbaum wouldve done his usual bump up one weight deal, but i guess i was wrong. I wonder if he will be undersized for a 130lber....

Coach JT, At the risk of being ridiculed by certain forum members, Rosehill Tournament looks to be extremely tough this year. While I have never considered it a weak tournament, with the additions of the Salthawks and Cowboys, this tournament should be great! I don't mean to slight any team not mentioned, but having seen these teams before, I feel they add some clout to this tournament. Could this rate as one of the top 5 tournaments in Kansas? (Not including dual tournaments)

On the schedule I got from Andale, they are also attending the Rose Hill Tournament. I also was able to find Maize's schedule for this year and they did not have the Rose Hill Tournament on it.

If I'm not mistaken, almost all, if not every team, that won state last year (1-6A) was at the Newton Tourney. From what I've read and heard, it doesn't seem like too much of a cake-walk. In order of difficulty I think it goes: 1. Newton 2. Basehor 3. Rose Hill 4. (This one is up for grabs, but maybe) Derby.

I would put the Rose Hill Tournament in the top 10. If you win it you have defiantly earned it, but there are some other great tournaments out there.

Im quite glad to see that Abilene is going to Rose Hill, the circle tournament never really offered any competition outside of Shawnee Heights, I remember certain years where as a team Abilene would win 11 brackets and place the other 3. I talked to Coach Stout and he sounded excited to be going to this tournament.

I tell you what...Abilene was fun to watch but also drove you nuts...after I went off to college I was in the area to see them at the Circle Invitational...and they were dominant then (1998-99 school year) But I remembering one of the lighter guys tried to go for a spladle and the takedown was there for the win, but trying to be fancy lost and went on to place 3rd I believe...drove me insane!!!!!!!!!

Not many people in Abilene do the spladle anymore, there were two people who used it religiously 1 of them was eally good even without it, the other just used it becuase he couldn't think of anything else to do and refused to shoo a real takedown.

I feel bad that I can't remember the name but you know how it goes if they weren't around your weight or a teammate the name might slip your mind...I thought he wore glasses...and was 145ish or so...thought it was the young man that recently was taken in a crash from Abilene.
