A Good Match will be:

140 - #1 5A - Joseph Cornejo, Campus vs. #1 4A - Jeremy Terrell, Rose Hill

We have the following teams this weekend. Bishop Carroll, Campus, Valley Center, Rose Hill, Newton, Buhler, Independence, Wichita South, and Winfield.

I agree Cornejo vs Terrell at 140 will be the best matchup of the tourney.

But look at 119 (4 state medalists and 7 state qualifiers out of 9 teams)

Brown (BC)-2nd
Harding (Win)-3rd
Delforge (VC)-6th
Elliott (Cam)-Qualifier
Cillessen (Mul)-5th in 4A
Shepard (Ind)-Qualifier
Ludlow (WS)-Qualifier

Obviously nothing compared to big tourneys like Newton or Basheor, but for a 10 team tourney that makes for some tough first round matches.

Other notable match-ups

103 - 1 and 2 in 5A (Metzler-new vs Kastor-BC)
plus Creekmore -WS
135 - Ashpole (VC), Chrisman (Cam), Camacho
(ind), hagerman (Mul)
152 - 1 versus 2 in 5A (Anderson-cam vs Johnston-
BC)

I agree this Tournament isn't the 2004 Bobcat Classic but not bad this year. I'm glad some of the weaker teams are gone.

119 is awesome!! just placing in the top four will be tough!
