I agree that 4A was fairly well distributed amongst the regions. To take your observations one step further, I calculated the place points each region scored at state (this does not include bonus points or advancement points)...

Burlington scored 196 points
Larned scored 194 points
Basehor-Linwood scored 175 points and
Caney scored 161 points

As far as who won each weight class, again, based on place points...
Burlington won 103, 135, 171, and 275
Larned won 112, 119, 125, 140, and 215
Basehor-Linwood won 145, 160 and 189 and
Caney won 130 and 152.

Just a little correction - the champ at 171 was Vogelsburg from Marysville. He came from the Basehor regional. Flory from Baldwin was 2nd at 171 and won the Burlington regional.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I added the place points for each wrestler from each region. Even if a region took 1st in the weight class doesn't neccesarily mean they won that weight class. The winner recieves 16 points, 2nd - 12, 3rd - 9, 4th - 7, 5th - 5, and 6th - 3. If region 1 took first and region 2 took 2nd and 3rd, region 2 wins the weight class.
