Manhattan has a very interesting one. They seem to get prepared for their matches by laying around and eating mass amounts of junk food. This might not seem like a good idea, but what the heck. It's better than running and getting all sweaty.

I dont know if they still do it in the regular season, but at the UNK wrestling camp, norton first warmed-up with some cutthroat nutball, and finished with a highly violent game of duck, duck, goose

Too much structure and cold machine routine for me w/ the rosehill rockets warm up....U guys instead should act out a NASA space launch w/ Terrell acting as the "Houston, I think we have a problem" guy.

You know Suh, I think a lot of things posted on here are funny, but very few of them actually make me laugh. That was one of them that did. Congratulations.

My personal favorite was at Newton when the BC that stole our team shorts last year decided he was going to wear them to the only tourny that they see us at. Our coach promptly saw the stolen shorts and informed the BC coach. what ever punishment he he recieved was well deserved because of his pure stupidity.

I also enjoy running w/ random teams for a couple laps until I get tired, then I return to Manhattan Standby (laying down and laughing at people we trip that try to run through or circle).

Have you ever seen Beloits "Crazy Run" after two sprinted laps they break off and run all over the Gym. Going through people warming up, knocking people over and then coming back to the middle and warming up.

I've seen teams try to impersinate (spelling) them but nobody comes close

At Carroll we do the Scary Stretch, and its not monkey noises! oh well i really don't care if you think its fruity, we do it to piss off the coaches.

To: iFeelFat

That was George Sponsel who stole those shorts and he was the only one to win his bracket from our team: I think he deserves a new pair of shorts.

To address this topic, one must first analyze the question: Who has the best team warm up?

Well first off, the logic is flawed. Everyone knows that teams that warm up together are lacking in some areas. Whether that area is wrestling ability, respectability, or the size of their (brain) is a moot point. If they were less insecure in their manhood, they wouldn't be warming up in packs.

Next--warming up as a team just isn't cool. "Let's see how much space we can take up, then show everyone how much we like each other by running around in a line." We get the point. You're a team. The matching singlets tell us that.

And finally--to ask who has the best team warm up is like asking which team has the best collective hairstyle. You can't make it cool, so stop trying.

Therefore, after addressing the initial question on a more intimate level, I declare this thread fired. In regards to warming up before a wrestling tournament, apathy rules the day.

Kapaun doesn't play hacky sack before tournaments. They're a bunch of ninny-liars.
