Annon and Jake are both two very great wrestlers. Annon has a awesome style. He uses his flexibily and quickness. Jake is a very strong, powerful, and tough wrestler. Jake though is a four time state champ and i dont care if two of those state championships were at 103 that is a great accomplishment to win it 4 times. Its going to be a awesome match and i think they are pretty much at the same level. But in the end i think annon is going to win it.

Does anyone know if we can have facial hair at the Senior Classic.

Well I think a few people in here owe an apology to Jake for saying he was going to get beat. Did you really think he was. I don't think Mr Kyle W or Take_it_to_em have ever really seen Jake wrestle. In any case yo uwere wrong now admit it, and don't make any excuses.

How wrong you are Chris, Jake knows full well who I am as does every other wrestler in Abilene. Why you might ask? Becuase I coached them all in kids wrestling last year. I don't live my life through them but I am quite proud of them. This didn't involve you so stay out of it. I'm calling out all the people who made such bold statements.

He won them as a freshman and a sophomore though so the usually a freshman thing is kinda void anyway.

As for people owning Jake an apology...I said I thought he'd win, but that I had never seen Annon (boy he's Gumby isn't he?!!) I don't think predictions should have apologies unless something crass was said...that would be like me apologizing to Nevada in the NCAA basketball tournament because I said Gonzaga would win.

Predictions don't warrant apologies, statements like "It will be a very close match but i know james will win." certainly do. You don't KNOW anyone is going to win. Sure there is a chance that James could have won. But to blatently say that one wrestler is going to win is dumb. I didn't make one comment in this forum becuase of that very reason. I saved my comments until it was over. Which is why forums like this should not even be made.

it was a great match between jake and james. lots of hostility on the forum between people who probably have very little to do with either wrestler. like i said, i saw the match, and honestly, for a 4-timer and "wrestler of the year", no offense to anyone, but not that impressed.

Just for your information wusifer, I am very close with james, as a friend and our parents have known eachother AND he is at my house EVERY SINGLE DAY so i know him pretty well! and like i said earlier...just b/c he is a four timer does not mean that he was set to win this stupid match!
