First thing I must say is congrats a friend of my own. You really wrestled well this past weekend, and all the extra summer wrestling has paid off. Also your poor performance at Hoxie this year was just an off weekend, nothing wrong with that, I'd rather have it at the beginning than at the end anyday. Now repeat that State Championship!

Now the next thing I have to say is Scheer who? I guess that 10-2 score before the pin was a fluke but we'll never know.......

Also how many lateral drops did you hit this year at State? Have you perfected the infamous "Foot Stomp?". I have seen your technique practiced much this year on the kids level, are you teaching them that well?

Good post alex, micheal really has worked hard all year long and in summer wrestling and out of season lifting and conditioning. After years of watching Mike it was so much fun to see him reach his ultimate goal. Also Scheer wrestled very good at state and should be congratulated on a good senior year a 4th and a 3rd at state is a very impressive acomplishment and he should be proud also.

Were Trego fans chanting "Muh-lay" or "Mull-et" during the championship match?

Awesome job, Farva, and congratulations! Wish I could've been there to see it! You've been working hard and it's paying off for you. Best of luck to you for this spring/summer and for next year!

I also have to say congrats to Malay. I've sort of been following up on how he had been doing over the season, and though i didnt qualify for state, i still went to watch our HWT, and to watch him just to see how well he would do. I was impressed. He did an excellent job the whole tournyment, and I was pushing for him to win it all. So, COngrats to Micheal on your State Championship, from what I've been seeing, you've earned it.

one of my budies told me that on friday malay was bragging about how he was going to win state and that he could have won it the last two years as well....that sorta makes me mad a little bit, sorry but you wouldn't have qualified for state two years ago and if you did you would have two and out....sorry but competition was a lot better and i had more respect for malay until i heard that

Ya, im pretty sure Micheal never said that because last year he knew how good that was from ACCHS and he wrestled HWT as a freshman. Your one of those people who dont have their name on here and who has never said who they were. If mike said anything like that he must have been kidding around about something and someone misunderstood him. Trust me im his brother and he has told me how good the kids in his weight class were the last two year, so i really doubt that he said that.

Micheal, congrats I didn't get to come to Hays this year but was watching on tv. Great job you worked hard. I know this is a tough week for you guys down there. We are praying for you. Remember the low lifes on this board can never take that gold medal from you.

There is no wqay i coulda won it my freshamn year cause i was wrestling hwt and i got killed, and Pursel woulda ripped my head off last year. Thanx for the laugh tho i really need it this week. I am to old to wrestle feterated but i will coach feterated this year and teach others my wonderful ways of staling. haha. jk. also thanx Mark for the support and prayers this has been a very tough week, and it is very hard not to celebrate.

Oldmatman, you really need to stop this if you are not going to name names then you need to shut up. Mike went from having one of the best days of his life on saturday to one of the worst on sunday when he lost a class mate, so unless you are just jealous of michael you need to shut up. Michaeal worked his butt off for what he has so you really need to shut up.

I swear that i didnt say that, and if i did i was messing around. There is no possible way that i coulda beat Bobby Dennis at 189 my freshman year and Chris Pursel last year but i can tell u one thing i did win it this year and thats all that matters to me. And Wrestling fan is right if you arent gonna supply names then just shut the hell up. I have ahd a very tough week. About the Farva thing i got in Fargo at Nationals. Coach Bovaird decided that i was a miniature Farva and since then i have had the nickname from all the members and coaches of that team.
