I also wanted to say thanks for the updates. Find myself checking out the posts and results every time I am close to a computer! Hopefully I'll be able to see the action in person sometime. Thanks again and it is really appreciated!

My favorite t-shirt quote thus far this year at Fargo:

Quote:
"Yeah ... you're going to need that blood rag"

It's a Missouri t-shirt, courtesy of Jason Heslop.

Sharky finds some offense late. to win the 1st period, 3-1 ... he opens a 2-0 lead in the 2nd ... and quickly closes out the period, 6-0!

Chaz Lawrence suffers a lost.

DeShazer is up ... Daniel gains 1 ... Daniel is being pushed toward the boundary and then hits a 3+1 head-and-arm ... he wins the period. In the 2nd, he is trailing 3-4 ... Daniel loses the period. In the 3rd, he loses 0-1.

Ryne is up ... Ryne is trailing 1-2 but comes back to tie the match ... Cokeley takes the lead, 4-3 ... and wins the frame. In the 2nd, Ryne earns a pushout l ... Ryne is in deep ... the opponent is trying to crotch lift but Ryne freezes the position and earns the fall!

At 125/Cadet FS....

4th place on the B side has been determined. The other 3 guys are:

Soto - 3 points - ONE match vs. Cokeley.
Lanave - 1 point - ONE match with Cokeley.
Cokeley - 0 points with TWO matches to go!

It is in Ryne's control to make the final. Win those two matches and he's in!

If Parker Madl can beat Lofthouse, he will likely make the 3rd Place match! Lofthouse has a match with Ness also.

Nelson needs a little help to make the final. He has to beat Figaro and then needs Roulo to beat McMurray to have a shot.

I greatly appreciate all the work you guys put in to provide us with this information. I am working over in England and it is great to be able to come to this forum whenever I am able to and get quick updates instead of making my way through the brackets.

You wrestlers are doing great, finish strong!!!!

Chase Nelson scores 1 on a takedown ... and again ... and again. Chase was in control throughout though he lost the second period. Chase used a variety of leg attacks in the win!

Tyler Caldwell wins by tech fall!

Detmer with the body lock for 5 ... in the 2nd, tosses for 3 ... gains a single ... gains a pushout ... and closes it out with a takedown!

Koehn with the tech fall!

Yesterday I spoke about the mat and pairing officials that proudly represent Team Kansas!

Today, I want to mention a couple of other groups! One, is the parents and family members of our wrestlers. As I get around the arena I hear fans cheering our wrestlers on ... those fans are loud and proud citizens of Kansas!

I must announce, that the "sweater vests" have arrived in Fargo! Yesterday, Coaches Keal and Albright arrived ... today I see coach Mike Medina is also present!

All of these folks make me proud I am from Kansas!

Doxon loses the first period, 0-6 ... Bob shored up his defense in the 2nd but loses, 0-1.

Andrus gains a pushout and late in the period, scores a takedown to win the first frame. In the 2nd, Steve wears down his opponent for a 3-0 period win ... Andrus wins!

Caylor wins!

Ryne is trailing early, 0-2 ... and loses the period. In the 2nd, Ryne takes the 2-0 lead ... the opponent scores but is it 1 or 2?? ... the result of the conference, Ryne wins 4-2. In the 3rd, the foe scores 1 ... Ryne makes a valiant effort but loses the period and the match.

Nathan Furches ... clinch in the 1st ... Nathan defends well and wins the period. Clinch again ... Nathan wins the flip ... but loses the period. Clinch again ... Nathan loses.

Parker Madl ... Parker takes the 1st period, 7-0. In the 2nd, the opponent scores on the takedown and later gains 3 on a toss ... Madl loses the period. In the 3rd, Utah with the score ... and Utah with the win.
