I think some people may mistake Mike's confidence and excitement for cockiness. I interviewed Michael after the semis Friday Night and he was like a kid in a candy store - I don't know if being in the finals and ultimately winning it meant any more to any other wrestler than Michael. He was excited, but very respectful of his opponent from Leoti. I've heard people say he runs his mouth, but I've never seen it. Congrats on your championship!

you know i am not trying to put you down or anything like that, i think it is very possible that these two people overheard you joking and didn't take it that way....i mean did you say something like that jokingly that someone could have possibly overheard you and mistaken you?i don't know it just upset me to hear that but if you were joking and they took it the wrong way i guess.....

Okay I must say that I can beat a State Champion from this year (I again must admit I've done it before by way of a headlock) I'm not going to say who it was or where, but he knows who the real #1 is......

"I don't want a large farva, I want a liter-o'-cola!"
Michael, you're doing awesome, so don't worry about any of this stuff. Be proud, be excited, and be motivated. If you do well again next year, we just might have to retire your Fargo nickname...

Well, ol' Farva, m' boy, I'm not sure when the wife will let me leave for two weeks straight again. She's pretty set on putting me to work on our new house this summer... what is she thinking; she should know that I became a teacher so that I can have my summers off and spend it doing nothing but getting tan and rassling. Anyway, did Tara tell you I said hey a while back?
