The Neosho County Community College wrestling facility has been recently awarded the distinction of being named a Regional Training Center by USA Wrestling. The formal application that was sent into USA Wrestling about a month ago was accepted yesterday.

With this ability, starting in March sometime, Neosho County will open up its wrestling room doors to all wrestlers that want to train for freestyle and greco. The regional training is free outside of the $30 USA Wrestling card. Every participant in the Regional Training Center must have a current USA Wrestling card in order to train in the facility.

The Regional Training Center was put together in order to benefit wrestlers from surrounding areas to come to one training center and train with each other. We hope to draw wrestlers from Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and maybe some Texas. If you do not have great training partners, then come to our regional center and train with the best wrestlers and coaches.

The regional training center will always have all top notch coaches from different states. The idea is to have the best coaches to provide a great learning and training environment to help build our young athletes. More information about the training center will become available towards the end of February. If you are looking for a great place to train, Neosho County Regional Training Center is the place to be.
