Attention Cadets:
If you haven't seen a flyer or you were not at kids state to hear the announcements the following information is very important. The past 2 years, the Cadet National Duals teams were selected by me. This year, the duals have been moved to July 3-6 in Greeley, CO. which is allowing me to use the freestyle/greco state tournament in Baldwin on June 1 and 2nd as a qualifier for the Cadet Duals team. This is the same as the juniors.
If you want to be part of the Cadet Duals team, you must attend the state tournament. If you place first at your weight at state in freestyle, then you are the #1 guy in that weight and style for cadet duals. We will take the top 2 guys at each weight per style. We are only taking 2 teams per style.
Your money will be paid at the state tournament after you have established your place. The cost is $80 per style. This covers your lodging, team shirt and mesh shorts, entry fees, and one evening meal per style.
If you are planning on attending the Cadet nationals in Fargo, ND. then cadet Duals is a great place and time to get prepared. Most wrestlers will receive 15 matches in 3 days at the duals with the best competition in the nation.
