So, what are everyones favorite movies?

My personal all-time favorite is Dumb and Dumber. I'm even wearing the blue Harry Dunn tux to prom.

The 5 Best Films of all time are the following (necessarily in order.)

5) Raging Bull- Scorcese's best ever.
4) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest- Jack Nicholson's best performance, and the best of the last 50 years.
3) Magnolia- Possibly the best ending of all time.
2) Pulp Fiction- The best screenplay ever, and greatly original.
1) A Clockwork Orange- Directed by the best ever- Stanley Kubrick- great soundtrack, great cinematography, and splendid acting.

I am shocked — completely shocked — at you all!
Nine responses and not one mention of "VisionQuest?"

Also — in no particular order — Rocky I, Casablanca, Animal House, M*A*S*H, and The Breakfast Club.

But no mention of VisionQuest? C'mon people; remember who we are!!!

Power 7 (in order):

1. Bloodsport- Jean Claude Van Damne at his very best in this movie. A tournament of death and martial arts has to be the greatest movie of all time. Also the anatagonist is a Korean w/ the most ridiciously huge pecks, which makes it even better.

2. The Last Samurai- Samarai warriors duking it out with new school miltary types makes for lots of violence and some darn good acting. Even though I am Korean and the Japs raped my people, it still gets a Power 7 spot at #2.

3. Kick Boxer- Van Damne yet again. This and Bloodsport are pretty much his only good movies. Van Damne avenges the pummelling his bro got from Tong Po and whoops the crap out of him Muay Thai style.

4. Old School- Will Ferrell and the wacky cast probably made the funniest comedy of all time. The horse tranquilizer in the neck has the be the best part.

5. Gladiator- A former general of Rome takes on the entire Roman Empire in the Coliesseum. He dices and slices his way to the hearts of the people.

6. The Water Boy- Freaking hilarious. Cracked out linebacker who hits like crazy. One of the truely last funny movies by Sandler. Most are now crap.

7. Best of the Best- South Korean National Tae Kwon Do team vs. the American team. This movie has it all, BRILLIANT acting, death defying martial arts and a heart warming end. Dae Han is such a bada$$. I have a man crush on him

I think Dingbat would like to throw his vote in there for "Hope Floats," starring Sandra Bullock. He liked it so much he actually saw it in the theater.

Sadly, Dingbat knows more about crappy chick flicks (see: Dirty Dancing) than any person alive. If you ask him to list his favorite actors/actresses, I guarantee Hugh Grant, Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Richard Gere, and Kate Winslet make the list.

I, on the other hand, would like to vote for the movie "Unnecessary Roughness" or either of the first two "Major League" movies.

I enjoyed The Joy Luck Club thoroughly. A movie about the hardships of Chinese immigrants has to be awesome. Rent it and i guarantee it won't disappoint.
