You know what is even more intriguing? That spring of 1932 instead of going 191 weight class in the NCAA Championships, Pete went into the Unlimited weight class and finished 3rd at the NCAAs only losing to Jack Riley of Northwestern who was the defending champion at that weight and would retain the title in 32 as well.
