i would like to know what criteria cokeley has over cox????

Here is a post that I made a few weeks ago. It's great to see Trent back on the mat. He was off of the rankings while he wasn't wrestling and I added him back once he returned.

***Cox has not shown up for several tournaments in a row. I was sure looking forward to the Garden City 130 bracket and, no Cox. I was told by his coach that he was healthy the week before at BVNW, but no Cox there either. Can you name the quality wins he has this year? Cokeley wrestles every week as well as earning National honors in the summer. His only loss to a Kansas wrestler this year is to C.J. Napier in a close match in which he bumped up a weight just to challenge Napier.

I have not seen Trent Cox in any results since 12/20/08. He beat Trey Houlden and Biddle on 12/6. He lost 8-2 to Ramon Willis, the #2 ranked 130 pounder from Oklahoma on 12/13 and then was entered with a 0-0 record at Emporia on 12/20. I confirmed with his coach today that he will be wrestling this weekend at 130, so I added him back to the 6A ranking at #1. Based on this year's results, he is #2 All-Class.***

With a lack of head-to-head criteria, it is tough to rank elite wrestlers. At some point I have to include national criteria as well. This is in no way a slight to Trent, just a judgement call by the Chief. If you have any other input, I'd be glad to hear it.
