Quick question....How does Junction City have four wrestlers ranked in all class rankings and has the most 6A state points coming back from last year and yet are not ranked all class and is 4th in 6A? Just a question.
A legitimate question. At one point last year I attempted to reflect an All-Class (AC) team scoring system into the team rankings. The feedback was not positive and I agreed that the grand state scenario was a bit limited, considering we have no true grand state tournament. In 6A, the point criteria on ranked wrestlers came down to:
I added that to the anticipated points scored by the non-placing wrestlers to arrive at the class ranking. So.... to clarify, the AC Team rankings are not scored by the AC individual rankings only. They are complete team rankings.
