Hoehn also took 2nd at the 321A State Tournament last year while Lamar went 2-2 and has yet to bring home a state medal. Hoehn also has a third place finish in 321A on his resume. Hoehn is 17-0 this season while Lamar is 14-1. However, Lamar's loss was against #1 Daniel DeShazer. I've watched both wrestle a few times and would say Hoehn is the better overall wrestler and believe he is deserving of a #2 rank in the all class standings. Last year Hoehn pushed Nathan Furches to the brink at the Eureka Tournament losing 5-4 against last year's #1 all class at 119.
