The overtime should not have happened. The ref gave Pulec 2 TD points when there was no takedown. Great Job Steven!

With the rule change this year, the hands are considered a supporting part on a takedown (see page 58 of your rulebook if you want the Nigel interpretation). The question I had was whether or not Foster was in this position beyond reaction time.

Just watched the 215 match on SHPTV it was close. One of Dustin's hands were down on the mat. The ? is if Pulec had controll while the hand was down ? It was so close that I could not tell from the replay. Just like that take down at the edge of the mat in the 171 match. It was a judgement call. In both cases everyone just has to accept the officials call.

Dustin Great match, Good luck next year. Again I will stress that pulic did not have control. It was a bad call but its over and unfortunately pulic won. jb83 You and the TV announcers that did not know much about whom was wrestling must have not watched the match, Steven was in control until the unfortunate bad call. Great job Steven.
I want to again Congratulate Both of you on outstanding Wrestling.
Mel

Nothing against Steven, but he appeared to be almost dead at the end of the match, conditioning wise, Pulec was able to keep going, a very good match to watch and don't blame anything on the refs, the ref shouldn't have to decide anything, put the match away yourself so there's no questions, but congrats to both and good luck to you next year Steven, prove you deserve it
